About Us
What is ADM?
American Dream Machine LLC is a production company owned and operated by Rowan University alumnist and Collingswood native, Frank Williams. He founded the company in 2005 and has since united his passion and talent for film to produce innovative and awe-inspiring cinema that questions reality and answer to no one. His mission is not simply limited to making quality short films, feature films, commercials, and music videos, but to also push artists and visionaries such as himself into the spotlight; success is always sweeter when shared. Williams understands that independent filmmakers are not one-man armies, but teams. He has assembled a team to achieve his cinematic aspirations, consisting of a highly-skilled team of actors, writers, directors, and photographers, to execute every aspect of filmmaking with passion and precision in attempt to make their collective motion picture dreams come true. American Dream Machine LLC is located in New Jersey, just 10 minutes outside the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. This film company is the embodiment of the American Dream. Like a Machine, we never stop working. We are continuously seeking excellence in filmmaking. We are always on the lookout for new talent, on both sides of the camera. We are interested in working with others that share our passion. We are a creative force to be reckoned with. We are perfectionists to a fault. We are driven by our dreams. We are American Dream Machine.

AMERICAN DREAM MACHINE - NEWS!
American Dream Machine has been living up to its name and working like a machine! We have cinematic goals and the people necessary to achieve them. Now, it's time for execution!
ZOMBIE LOVE
(feature; horror rom-com; shooting June 2011)
Upon surviving a trip through the fiery pits of production hell and then taking a brief but necessary vacation in the netherworld of film limbo, ZOMBIE LOVE has returned from the grave and is currently undead as ever in pre-production, gearing up for a summer shoot next June. I am pleased to announce that there is a great chance that we will have the opportunity to shoot this film the right way this go around; or should I say, THE RED WAY! We have a lot of exciting stuff in the works and some very capable people on board, including a new producer, a new DP, a new special FX company, and a new leading lady, amongst some other newbies. Official announcements will be made very soon. If you are interested in making a quality investment and wish to help this film come to life and eat the brains out of audiences everywhere, then contact us at info@adreammachine.com about buying stock in Zombie Love LLC.
HOME FREE
(feature; buddy comedy; shooting November 2011)
Writer/Director, Brandon Zobel, takes on his first feature film with HOME FREE. This films tells the story of Monty and Calvin, two best friends and recent college grads, that live together in an apartment after graduating college and face tough economic times in which they can't find decent jobs to pay the bills and make ends meet. Their worst nightmare comes true when they end up getting evicted from their apartment by their landlord. This spells failure until they stumble upon a goldmine... a homeless shelter. They don't know it at the time, but what they have discovered is much more than temporary living quarters. It's a home unlike either of the two have ever known. We already have some name talent attached to this film and by the time we are finished casting, we expect to have even more. Furthermore, this film is something special. It will serve as a community service initiative as much as it will a cinematic endeavor. We will be shooting most of the film out of a Camden homeless shelter/soup kitchen. We will be using some of the homeless people that currently occupy the location as talent, and paying them for their acting services. Members of crew will be clocking in hours at the homeless shelter and working in the soup kitchen. This is cinema truly making a difference in the lives of a community. If you are interested in making a quality investment and wish to help remedy the social ails of poverty and destitution through film, then contact us at info@adreammachine.com about buying stock in Home Free LLC.
SHORTS
Currently we have quite a few short films slated for the next year and beyond. These films are all at different stages of production, ranging from pre to post. We typically shoot on weekends. If you're not a film person, but you are interested in working on a film, then perhaps working on one of these films would be a great opportunity for you to get your feet wet. Typically, I say, dive in the deep end and learn how to swim, but this method works too. Experience is clutch when it comes to working on a feature film, so you can get that experience by working on some shorts to start. Shoot us an email at info@adreammachine.com if this is of interest to you.
CASTING & OTHER INFO.
We have auditions forthcoming for upcoming ADM projects during the 2010-2011 production year. Please inquire if you are interested in auditioning and/or wish to serve in another capacity with productions.
PHILADELPHIA ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK (PEN) MONTHLY MIXER - TUESDAY, JULY 20th @ BUFFALO BILLIARDS 6-10pm - PHILADELPHIA, PA
The Philadelphia Entertainment Network (PEN) will host their monthly networking session at Buffalo Billiards on Tuesday, July 20th, at which there will be a panel of producers who are looking for actors and crew for upcoming projects, including American Dream Machine. Be sure to invite your friends in the entertainment industry to this happy hour; the more - the merrier.
Remember, it's next week, Tuesday the 20th of July at Buffalo Billiards in Philadelphia from 6-10pm. There will be free software for all attendees.
My good friend and fellow filmmaker, Steve Felt, is the organizer for everything that the Philadelphia Entertainment Network (PEN) does, so it's important for all of us to shoot him a thank you for his efforts in providing the Philadelphia film community with such great opportunities to network, socialize, and form collaborative initiatives. All you have to do is say, "THANK YOU, STEVE!" Yes, it's that simple. Sometimes a thank you can go a long way.

"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible." -T. E. Lawrence
Our forefathers had the courage to dream and that is why we enjoy the freedoms that we do. As Americans, we must always remember their bravery, along with those who have shared in their dream, giving their lives to keep the dream alive. To them, I raise my glass. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Someone should bitchslap me for not being more current and up to date with my news postings on here. Speaking of, is anyone willing to step up and take over ADM news reporting duties? Let me know. Thanks!
Anyway, how are my ADM film dudes and dudettes? What's up? What's new? How are you? Do you find these questions as trite as I do? Good. Great. Grand. Enough fluff, now on to business...
As many of you know, the Dream Team participated in its first 48 Hour Film Project. We received the genre of FANTASY, which we were happy to get; most of us were anyway. The other necessary criteria was as follows:
CHARACTER NAME: Joe or Jeannie Mandanda
JOB: municipal employee
PROP: Lettuce
LINE OF DIALOGUE: "Be sure she gets the message."
Using this criteria, we produced one of our best films to date! I went to the screening expecting to look like a rookie bitch, and surprised was I to find that our film, LET US EAT, was one of the best of the bunch. From the story to the performances to the production quality... we made a splash with our 48 Hour Film Project debut. It kicked ass! The audience was definitely feeling it. They laughed. They cried. They blew their load. As a filmmaker, that is precisely the response that I want from an audience. If you didn't have the opportunity to make it out for the premiere of LET US EAT, then you can check it out on our website.
I would like to thank all members of cast and crew for being so awesome and for working your asses off to make the best film possible. I can't imagine that there exists a better team than the one that I had for the 48HFP. I say that from the bottom of my heart. YOU TRULY ARE THE DREAM TEAM!
If you were not able to work on this project due to scheduling conflicts or prior commitments, then have no fear. We have a few projects coming up for which we will be posting for cast and crew. You can check out the details soon on our MySpace page, Facebook group, and of course on the American Dream Machine website: www.adreammachine.com.
2010 has already proven to be American Dream Machine's most productive year to date, and it's not even June! In addition to the films that we have produced, we have a brand spankin new website up and running and we're about to drop a fresh merch line. I can't wait to see how the rest of the year pans out. I think the movie magic is going to continue and we are going to create some awesome cinema! The best is yet to come!
APRIL 2010:

The "Calendar Girl" wrap party was last night and it was F'n ridiculous, complete with good food, plenty of alcohol (probably too much), bull riding, and karaoke. Many people from cast and crew were present (and by present I do not necessarily mean coherent). It was a blast. Earlier in the day, American Dream Machine was busy filming Raymond Ogilvie's short film, "Dream Emporium". It was our second complete day of shooting, and now only one remains. We are confident that this project will be another cinematic gem to add to the ADM collection. That's all for now, because I am going to see "Clash of the Titans" in 3-D IMAX!
MARCH 2010:
3/31
"CALENDAR GIRL" IS A WRAP!
FEBRUARY 2010:
2/28
So... February has come and gone. I hope everyone had a very romantic Valentine's Day with their special someone, remembered our forefathers on Presidents' Day, and supported the USA during the Olympics. As for film, I am excited to announce that we have a few films that have recently finished in post-production. Our dramatic short, "Children Kill Dreams", marks the directorial debut of Eddie Noone and stars myself and Amanda Damron as a young couple torn between youth, dreams, and the reality of facing unplanned pregnancy. The screenplay was also a first for Eddie Noone, who has been showing incredibly vast abilities and versatility. "Children Kill Dreams" will be posted on our brand spanking new website within the next few months, following a run at various festivals (fingers crossed). "Point Blank Ultimatum" is a film that I conceptualized and shot over the course of 2 days. It was an experiment in improv and I am very pleased with the end result. Put in the careful hands of a good editor, the film turned out to be something rather special. In addition to directing, I also star in this highly intense thriller about a man who sets out to give a heartless corporate type a taste of his own medicine after being fired from his job. These 2 films will surely show off the development of American Dream Machine as we continue to grow and flex our cinematic muscles. Now, we love our own product and take great pride in all American Dream Machine projects, because they come from the labor, sacrifice, funding, creativity, and dreams of our very own, but make no mistake in that we also love to support the independent film community at large. We here at American Dream Machine are very excited - no, enthralled - no, ECSTATIC - about our involvement with the film "Calendar Girl". Tommy Avallone, John Guanere, and the producers of the Alan Ruck vehicle "Booted" are venturing into new and dark territory with their project, "Calendar Girl". It looks like it has some major potential; so much so that I have decided to step up as an associate producer on the project. I can sense how very special this film is going to be and have complete faith in the people involved. It's important that all of you support this film the same way that you would support an American Dream Machine film. Keep your eyes peeled on NBC, because you might just catch a little "Calendar Girl" coverage. That's all for now kiddies. You can stop reading. Go watch a movie.
JANUARY 2010:
1/30
It's the end of the first month of the year and just the beginning of great things to come in 2010. American Dream Machine is poised and ready to go with several projects in the works. This year truly promises to be the Year of the Machine! We have already completed most of our first feature film, "ZOMBIE LOVE", and we have 5 short films currently in post and 2 in pre-production, not to mention a web series that is currently in-development. We have already submitted 2 films to film competitions, and it's only January! I cannot wait to see what develops over the next year. 2010 is destined to be a landmark year for all of us at American Dream Machine, including YOU! Perhaps the most exciting news is the launching of our new website! It has been completely renovated and renewed by our internet carpenter and webmaster, Jim Cairns. He did an awesome job and the site is loaded with new faces, new features, new content, new casting calls, and news about ADM projects, shorts to features, pre to post. This website has got it all. CHECK IT OUT!

20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

FILM:
41. Where there's a will, there's a way. You have to believe this, or no one else will.
42. Stick to the script.
43. Good directors know how to explain their vision to actors. Great directors know how to show their actors. Practice modeling techniques to convey direction for a scene.
44. Filmmaking is like building a house. A shooting schedule is the blueprint for making a film. Any member of cast or crew that does not show up to work or comes without their tools should be fired.

12/20
Hello Dreamers,
This time of year makes people think and reflect upon the days and years gone by; what could have been and what should be. It's also a time in which we express love and gratitude toward family and friends, recognizing them for what they truly mean to us.
A few days ago, the American Dream Machine family almost suffered a tragic loss. Yuvika Sharma (aka Vicky), who celebrated her 25th birthday on December 15th, had a severe asthma attack the very next day. She was rushed to the emergency room at Lourdes in Willingboro, NJ, and immediately transferred to the Critical Care Unit (CCU). The doctors and nurses did an excellent job taking care of Vicky. She remained hooked up to a ventilator while they did tests to assess the cause of the attack. After many tests, they were still unable to identify the exact cause for the life-threatening asthma attack. Today she was deemed healthy enough to be transferred home, where she is currently recovering. If you wish to send a get-well card to Vicky, her mailing address is 507 Garnet Drive, Burlington, NJ 08016. I'm sure that she would appreciate it.
In any case, this recent brush with death has really made me think about life. You never truly appreciate mortality until you are reminded of it. It seems too often that people take their breaths for granted. I don't wish to do that. With every breath that I breathe, I am thankful. I am in awe of this thing called life, and I am blessed with a wonderful cast of family and friends that make it worth living. Oftentimes, people don't take the opportunity to tell others what they mean to them and express their love.
I just want to take this opportunity right now to tell you that I love you for who you are and for all that you do to show your support of American Dream Machine. I'd also like to wish you and yours a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!
For those of you who are not celebrating Christmas and to which MERRY CHRISTMAS does not apply, perhaps the following would be more acceptable:
HAPPY HANNUKAH!
HAPPY CHANNUKAH!
HAPPY KWANZAA!
HAPPY JEHOVAH'S WITNESS HOLIDAY!
HAPPY YOU-ARE-ALIVE-SO-FUCKING-ENJOY-IT-AND-BE-GRATEFUL-THAT-YOU HAVE-THE-LOVE-OF-FAMILY-AND-FRIENDS-THAT-TRULY-CARE-ABOUT YOU-AND-WISH-YOU-THE-BEST-IN-ALL-YOU-DO!
From all of us at American Dream Machine, we wish you a happy and safe holiday season and a happy new year! LET'S MAKE 2010 THE BEST FUCKING YEAR EVER (cause 2009 kinda sucked)! And please, take the opportunity to tell those that you love how much they really mean to you.
Take care and God bless!

OCTOBER 2009:

I've always looked at October as horror month. Yeah, there's some important holidays (and some unimportant ones) throughout the month, but they are all shadowed by one of the best holidays of all: HALLOWEEN! And the month is riddled with Halloween parties. So, for all intents and purposes, I believe that October is horror month. During this month, EVERYONE should be watching as many horror films as humanly possible. In attempt to make sure that all of you gore-lovers get your fix, I am inviting you to join me in attending the Terror Film Fest. Here are the details... TERROR FILM FESTIVAL

The Project Twenty1 Film Festival was, once again, a smashing success! Stephanie Yuhas and Matt Conant along with their supporting cast have put together what I believe to be the Sundance of the east coast. They get films from around the world and around your town and put them on the big screen for everyone to see. Project Twenty1 is my favorite festival and I wish the wonderful people behind it nothing but the best in keeping it going for a long, long time to come. The films of 2009 were AWESOME! I'd like to applaud all of my friends that had films in the festival, especially Doug Seidel and Justice Productions for winning the Marketing Award for their "Paragon's Journal" campaign; Justice has been served. They were truly deserving of the award. Congratulations to all of the winners. I'm not going to get into who else won, but you can check out the winners athttp://www.projecttwenty1.com/Default.aspx?tabid=249
If you missed the Project Twenty1 Film Festival this year, then you missed out. It's more than a film festival. VIVE LE CINEMA!

MAY 2009:

Dear Dreamers,
I was in a bad car accident last Tuesday. Since then, I have been doing a lot of reflecting. I feel very fortunate for walking away without a scratch on my body, but the mere possibility of grave consequence continues to haunt me, and inspire me. The car immediately in front of me made a quick right turn without any forewarning or using a turn signal. I slammed the breaks, but it was to no avail, because I hydroplaned right into the back of his car. Upon impact, I was sent reeling into oncoming traffic in the opposite lane. It was a matter of seconds that prevented me from being totaled by an oncoming vehicle. During this time, these fragile moments while the accident was happening, I thought about a lot of stuff. My life didn't flash before my eyes or anything, but a grand array of feelings, priorities, and people did. However, like in a dream, the ideas all seemed to run together. It's only now that I am able to make sense of these thoughts, and the message is clear. Take control over your life. Make your dreams reality. Live unto your destiny. This is your life, your dreams, your destiny, and you can't let anyone or anything prevent you from reaching the heights that your wings were built for.
I love you all.
Take care,
Frank Williams

OK, so since we started shooting the horror. rom-com, "Zombie Love", things have been CRAZY. Shooting a feature film is tough, especially a monster like this one. I've been leading anything but a normal and healthy lifestyle. However, I have managed to keep things in perspective. No matter what the situation, I always rely on my faith and a core set of values and beliefs that I have learned through the years. Here are some guiding principles that I live my life by...
ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
THREE. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
FOUR. When you say, 'I love you,' mean it.
FIVE. When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye.
SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight.
EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
TEN. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
ELEVEN. Don't judge people by their relatives.
TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly.
THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'
FOURTEEN. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
FIFTEEN. Say 'bless you' when you hear someone sneeze.
SIXTEEN. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

"ZOMBIE LOVE"...IT'S ALIVE!!!!!
3/18
This Saturday we are doing some B-roll coverage for the "Zombie Love" just to prepare for the real thing starting next weekend, March 28/29. If you are interested in being apart of the film and appearing in the film, then be at the following location on Saturday at 8am: 1200 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146. You may bring a few friends with you if know of some others that would like to participate. I hope to see you Saturday. Take care!

OK, so I haven't been keeping this thing as updated as I should, but I have been knee deep in preproduction on "Zombie Love", so I appreciate your patience. Despite the fact that I really don't have too much time right now to post all of the info that I would like to, I did want to let you know 2 things. The first thing is Zombie Love Fest will be happening on April 18th at the Fortress of the Arts in Philadelphia at 7pm. Everyone should have received a new invite. Please let me know if you did not, so I can send you the information. Secondly, the reason I removed the videos from the group page is because, as you probably already figured out, they would become property of Facebook and I would lose my rights to the material. FUCK THAT. Not happening. Anyway, I will try to keep everyone abreast changes, progress, and all things relative. Until next time... KEEP IT REEL!
FEBRUARY 2009:

I'd like to thank everyone for coming out to American Dream Machine's Zombie Love VD Party. I hope all of you had as much fun as I did.
JANUARY 2009:
1/24
OK so I tried to bite my tongue and keep my mouth shut about my feelings toward the Oscar nominations, but I must release the demons within and let all of you movie-going motherf'ers know how very pissed off I am. I apologize for the name-calling, but it's a byproduct of my rage. Sorry!
Now, Doug Seidel, a good friend and colleague of mine, did not enjoy "The Dark Knight". That's fine. To each his own, right? It's ok for him to disagree with 99% of America. He has every right to his opinion, so I grant him that. HOWEVER, the Academy snubbing the most important film of this decade is truly, undoubtedly the stupidest thing that they have done since giving Marissa Tomei an Academy Award (P.S. she's nominated again this year in the same category, but for a much better film by Darren Aronofsky called "The Wrestler"...definitely check it out. Mickey Rourke is AWESOME! Look for another film of his called "Killshot", produced by Quentin Tarantino later this year). Sorry, went off on a bit of a tangent. Anyway, I'm glad that Heath Ledger was nominated for "The Dark Knight", but where is the nod for Best Picture and Best Director. Ledger is rolling over in his grave right now (and it has nothing to do with the excessive drugs still roaming in his corpse). Christopher Nolan deserves credit and recognition from the Academy for creating such a masterpiece of modern cinema, transcending genre and box office appeal, and telling the story of Batman in such a riveting and epic fashion. The last film to enjoy the critical success and blockbuster numbers as "The Dark Knight" was a little film called "Titanic", which still sits atop the highest grossing films of all time list ("The Dark Knight" is #2). Like ""Titanic", "The Dark Knight" was a favorite of fans and critics alike. Both films changed the industry forever ("Titanic introduced revolutionary CG technology and "The Dark Knight" forever changed the definition of 'action film'). HOWEVER, "Titanic" was nominated for Best Picture. "The Dark Knight" was not. The director of "Titanic", James Cameron, was nominated for Best Director. The director of "The Dark Knight", Christopher Nolan was not. Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for Best Actor for "Titanic", whereas, Christian Bale was not nominated for "The Dark Knight". Kate Winslet was nominated for Best Actress for "Titanic", whereas, Maggie Gyllenhaal was not nominated for "The Dark Knight". Now, Heath Ledger is currently nominated for Best Supporting Actor for "The Dark Knight" and Billy Zane got snubbed for his brilliant performance in "Titanic", so that is ONE nomination that the "The Dark Knight" received that "Titantic" did not. WHOOPITY DOOO! Of course, being nominated isn't everything... WINNING IS. "Titanic" WON Best Picture AND Best Director. Obviously, "The Dark Knight" will not have the same opportunity. I suggest some good ol' fashioned vigilante justice, Batman style, to inflict pain and punishment upon those Academy voters that agreed with Doug Seidel when casting their ballots. I just hope that Heath Ledger wins for what is sure to be a performance that lives on throughout the history of cinema.
Oh well, not the first time I've been pissed off at the Academy, and certainly not the last. There were a few other disappointments, but I don't have the time or energy to rant and rave about how Clint Eastwood and Leo DiCaprio got snubbed for their respective performances in "Gran Turino" and "Revolutionary Road", not to mention Josh Brolin's performance in "W.", which is probably the most important political film of the last 8 years (explains A LOT), and how it got shut out completely. Anyway, I'll be having a party at my place on Oscar Sunday (2/22), so keep your eyes peeled for an invite that I will probably send out in the next week or so. Until next time... KEEP IT REEL!
Oh, and here's the event details for Zombie Love Fest: March of the Zombies:

81st Academy Awards®
Nominations Announced
Beverly Hills, CA — Nominations for the 81st Academy Awards were announced today (Thursday, January 22) by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Sid Ganis and Oscar® winner Forest Whitaker.
Ganis and Whitaker, who won an Academy Award® for his lead performance in “The Last King of Scotland” (2006), announced the nominees in 10 of the 24 categories at a 5:38 a.m. PT live news conference attended by more than 400 international media representatives. Lists of nominations in all categories then were distributed to the news media in attendance and via the Internet on the official Academy Awards Web site, www.oscar.com.
Academy members from each of the branches vote to determine the nominees in their respective categories – actors nominate actors, film editors nominate film editors, etc. In the Animated Feature Film and Foreign Language Film categories, nominations are selected by vote of multi-branch screening committees. All voting members are eligible to select the Best Picture nominees.
Nominations ballots were mailed to the 5,810 voting members in late December and were returned directly to Pricewaterhouse-Coopers, the international accounting firm, for tabulation.
Official screenings of all motion pictures with one or more nominations will begin for members this weekend at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater. Screenings also will be held at the Academy's Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood and in London, New York and San Francisco.
All active and life members of the Academy are eligible to select the winners in all categories, although in five of them – Animated Short Film, Live Action Short Film, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short Subject and Foreign Language Film members can vote only if they have seen all of the nominated films in those categories.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2008 will be presented on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live by the ABC Television Network. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide.

What a way to start the new year! American Dream Machine hosted American Dreamfest 2009 at McFadden's in Philly on Friday night and it was a major success despite the inability to truly talk with the loud sounds of music blasting from every which way. People exchanged business cards and got drunk and danced the night away. Everyone had a great time and that's what matters most. Saturday morning was a little rough for many of us, especially myself, but we had a production meeting prior to our casting call for the feature film, "Zombie Love." The production meeting went great and I am really excited by the talent that we have behind the scenes. The Dream Team is officially assembled and everyone shares in a sense of commitment, devotion, and enthusiasm for the project. Because of how great the meeting went, I was a happy man. I got a whole lot more happy, along with everyone else, when the sea of actors and actresses began to flood the Fortress. I am not lying when I say that we had zero down time. We ran our casting call from noon to 4:30 with no real breaks to speak of. It was exhilarating. We auditioned 25+ SAG and non-SAG actors for roles in "Zombie Love." We had an excess of talent, and I am certain that we have the on-screen talent necessary to make this film a blistering success. "Zombie Love" is going to wake the dead and breathe new life into independent cinema. We have another casting call on Tuesday, January 20th from 7-11pm at the Fortress of the Arts of Philadelphia. If you are an actor looking to be apart of a special film, then we encourage you to attend this casting call. Please bring your resume and headshots and have a monologue prepared. Well, it's been a long and exciting weekend and a great start to the year. 2009 is going to be BIG. I can feel it. Can you? Thought so. Until next time, keep it reel!
DECEMBER 2008:
12/31 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hello Dreamers,
I hope that your holidays are going well and that you, your family, and your friends are together, happy, and healthy. This time of year can sometimes be a bummer because of the shitty weather. I mean, when we were kids, the snow used to make the winter weather worthwhile. Now, it's just cold and wet and filled with darkness. It sucks. It's no wonder why this time of year is when people are most suicidal, or perhaps even why a man would be crazy enough to dress up like Santa, strapped with enough dynamite to melt the North Pole, and kill 9 people before igniting himself and roasting like chestnuts by an open fire. HO HO HO...Mother Nature is a ho fo sho. Mother Nature is a cold bitch during the winter months and she shows us no love or warmth. However, I suppose that's why we have the best holidays during this time of year. They bring us together and enable us to cope with Mother Nature during her menstrual cycle. I hope that the love and warmth of your family and friends is getting you by. I wish you nothing but the best in luck and love in the year to come.
Oh, and I have some exciting news and updates from American Dream Machine as we readily prepare for production on our first feature film, "Zombie Love." Check it out!

On behalf of all of us at American Dream Machine, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving! 11/4 - ELECTION DAY!
Hello Dreamers,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to encourage all of you to get out there and do what you're probably already going to do anyway: ROCK THE VOTE. As you know, this election is one of the most important in our great nation's history due to the present state of the union. It is our responsibility that we use our right to vote in this pivotal time. We need to take this country back. Show Washington that your vote counts. Hit the polls and do your civic duty. Let your vote be your voice and scream so loud that the Statue of Liberty has to cover her hears and Abe Lincoln falls out of his chair. Be heard.
"Sink or swim, live or die, survive or perish, I give my hand and heart to this vote."
- Daniel Webster

SEPTEMBER 2008:
9/13
So I would just like to start off by saying thank you to all of the wonderful people from the American Dream Machine family that wished me a happy birthday and made me smile despite taking one step closer to the pearly gates. THANK YOU! Seriously though, getting old sucks, but the road is so much better when it is paved with the love and support of people like you. I love you all. GROUP HUG! I'm sure Club 27 is going to be pretty sweet, after all, it is how old Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were when they broke it big with "Good Will Hunting" (cough cough "Zombie Love" cough cough). Of course, it is also probably better known for being a rockstar memorial age, since Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Rivers Phoenix, and Janis Joplin all met their demise at 27. Oh well, either way, I guess I better make it special.
Oh, as previously mentioned, we have an event on October 18th at the Fortress of the Arts, which we are expecting to be a MAJOR SUCCESS. The details are listed below. In any case, I paid my first visit to the Fortress of the Arts to attend my first Film Industry Meetup Group (http://filmind.meetup.com/239/ ...I highly recommend you join this Meetup group if you have any film aspirations), so it was a night of firsts, and I cannot tell you how fucking spectacular this place is. It is truly amazing and quite a colossus. I am sooo excited about Zombie Love-Fest. You are not going to believe the spectacle that awaits you on the 18th. Come one...Come all! It will be a night that you will never forget, showcasing the best in local independent cinema and live music from the area. Not to mention the fact that all proceeds will go towards the budget for production of "Zombie Love." BRING OUT YOUR DEAD!
AUGUST 2008:
8/30
ANNOUNCEMENT: ZOMBIE LOVE FEST! Raise some funds...Raise some hell! At the Fortress of the Arts in Philly on Saturday, October 18th, we will be holding Zombie Love Fest. There's a lot of stuff going on at American Dream Machine right now. First of all, the feature film we were planning on shooting this fall, "Zombie Love", has been pushed back to make room for a bigger budget and as a result some short films that were slated for after the project have been pushed up. We're nonstop, so if a project gets moved back, then another steps up. It's how we do. Other than that, just a lot of writing, networking, and creativity. We're very excited about 2009 already (which is most likely when we will make "Zombie Love" and a few shorts with some real meat to them).
I'd like to give a shout out to Doug Seidel, Allen Gottfried, Sean Gallagher, and the rest of the Justice Productions team, who are currently working on their Project 21 film, which is a film that is written, shot, and edited in 21 days. We here at American Dream Machine wish them the best of luck with production and rest assured that their film will be awesome. In the name of Justice, take home some awards fellas!
Welp, I think that's all for now. Remember if you have any questions about what American Dream Machine is doing right now, have film ideas that you think might be worth pitching, and/or wish to be apart of the action, feel free to contact any member of our Dream Team and you can expect a prompt response. LIVE THE DREAM!
JULY 2008:
7/20
Sooo we wrapped on "Oneirophobia" and since then have taken a little break from production (that's a bold faced lie, we never stop working and we never sleep). We are currently seeking additional investors for "Zombie Love" so that we can purchase some extra goodies for production, which is slated for the fall. Right now we are currently working with a budget of about $10 grand, which is more than we have had on any previous productions. This is a very small number as anyone in film production would agree, but we are fully capable of making a quality film with this kind of budget. In fact, quality is not even the right word. I think, AMAZING is much more appropriate. Stay tuned for the latest and greatest as pre-production on our feature film, "Zombie Love", continues. Oh yeah, GO SEE THE DARK KNIGHT!

We are currently shooting another short film entitled "Oneirophobia" and we are looking to wrap our 3-day production this Thursday. I am thinking that we should have this one up and running into your eyes and ears by the end of the month. "Oneirophobia" is all about people's fears and how they limit us from living the lives we want and need to live. Look for it later this month. Oh, and preproduction on our feature film "Zombie Love" keeps rockin and rollin along. The Dream Team just keeps getting bigger and better and we will be welcoming Jose Cruz and Cruz Control Pictures into the family. Jose Cruz is coming aboard as a producer on the film. This film will mark the first, and certainly not last, collaboration between American Dream Machine and Cruz Control Pictures. To say that we are excited would be a BIG understatement. "Zombie Love" is going to be something truly special.

So on Sunday, June 29th, myself along with David Thomas decided to join forces with the acting talents of Peter Zielinski for a little experiment in cinema that produced 'shocking' results in the matter of 5 hours. The short film is "Shock Value" and you can now find it on our MySpace page, Facebook group, YouTube account, or right on our website at www.adreammachine.com. Check it out! You'll be SHOCKED!

Production on our feature film, "Zombie Love" grows closer and the excitement and anticipation is building. As of right now, we are set to begin shooting in the fall (details to come). We will be shooting a few short films over the next 2 months, including "Oneirophobia" and "?" (aka "Question Mark"). Also, we had a one-day shoot with the 2-Live Crew for the short film "Shock Value" starring Peter Zielinski and we think that it turned out pretty frickin good; should be posted sometime this week. If you have any questions about current projects and/or you would like to be considered to work on future projects, please contact us. Look forward to seeing everyone at American Dreamfest '08!

MAY 2008:

I just posted the second teaser trailer for our summer, feature film project, "Zombie Love." I cannot tell you how excited I am about this film. It's going to be a major milestone for American Dream Machine, but it's not going to drop until summer 2009, so you'll just have to live off the trailers until then. Enjoy!

I just finished a short film entitled, "The Rest of Your Life." In my opinion, it is the best film that American Dream Machine has produced to date. I think that you will like it a lot. You can watch it now on our MySpace page (http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2111602341). Our Facebook group and YouTube account can't handle it...it's that good! Check it out!

MARCH 2008:
3/22
For anyone that might have missed the boat on ADM's casting call for "Bullets & Fist", don't fret. Start getting your headshots and resumes ready! We will soon begin casting for our short film, "Oneirophobia", which is a psychological fantasy about the fears that place us in a world of limitation and prohibit us from living the lives that we were meant to live. We are looking at a late June/early July shoot, so most likely we will schedule casting for principles and supporting characters during the month of May. We will keep you updated on casting and production. Also worth noting, we are currently seeking corporate sponsorship for this film, so if you know of any major companies or local businesses that would like to lend their support (and money), let us know. If you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please direct them to Dawn Brawley at dawnbrawley@adreammachine.com.

BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH! "True friends stab you in the front" according to Oscar Wilde, so make sure that your back is always to your enemies and you are staring your friends dead in the eye when they plant their daggers into your heart.
NEWSFLASH! ADM has posted a teaser trailer for its feature film, "Zombie Love". I know what you're thinking, 'how can you have a teaser trailer for a film that has not even started production yet?' Well, to that I say, CHECK IT OUT! This film doesn't even have a cast yet, but the script is just that good and has got everyone at American Dream Machine in an uproar. We are more excited about this film than we have ever been for any of our projects. In any case, just to put you in the loop, "Zombie Love" is a dark, romantic comedy/horror film about a man who lives beyond the mortal world while still very much in it all so that he can prolong his undying love for his dead girlfriend (Awww, how sweet...). Tagline: "Life. Death. Love. Brains." If you have any questions about this project or have interest in assisting with the production crew, you can contact Frank Williams at frank@adreammachine.com. Now, check out the teaser trailer for ÄDM's most hyped film yet, "Zombie Love."

FEBRUARY 2008:
American Dream Machine has finally completed post-production on 5 different projects, including the long-awaited, once feature/now short film, "You Are Forgiven" is FINALLY DONE! You can check it out at www.myspace.com/americandreammachine. It runs about 20mins 31sec and so Facebook and YouTube wouldn't accept it. Thank the Tom for MySpace. The rest of the projects can be viewed right here and/or YouTube as well as MySpace. Projects include the short films, "My Dreams Ride Shotgun", "My Dreams Ride Shotgun (Dance Floor Junkie Remix)", and "Beer Pong Tournament!", as well as its teaser trailer, "Production Pong!" Check em out! All of which will soon be posted on our website (www.adreammachine.com) upon solving some minor technical difficulties. Justin Little...? Work is continuing on other projects, such as the short film collection, "Tall Tales & Short Films." We have several other projects in pre-production, not too many in post...thankfully! Next month we will be casting for a feature that we will be shooting in April/May called "Bullets & Fist." It's a comedy that packs a punch. It should be a lot of fun. Keep an eye out for audition dates and times. Anyone else that is not interested in being in front of the camera, but would like to work behind the scenes is more than welcome to come out. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please email frank@adreammachine.com.
JANUARY 2008:
American Dream Machine is currently shooting music videos for various bands from the tri-state area. Rock n Roll! Also, we are inching closer to completing production on the short film series, "Tall Tales & Short Films", which is a collection of shorts that share relative themes and characters that are connected through varying plotlines. Oh, and as for "You Are Forgiven", the feature-length project that refuses to be forgotten, it will finally be completed and festival-worthy by month's end...THANK GOD. For more news and updates, check out www.adreammachine.com!
